Princeton University Press Internship

During my internship at Princeton University Press, I've had the opportunity to engage in a diverse array of graphic design tasks. In addition to designing graphics for advertisements, I played a pivotal role in illustrating their 2023 Holiday campaign. Furthermore, I've taken on responsibilities such as photographing published books in different environments. Additionally, I've delved into the realm of book cover design, applying my creativity and design skills to craft covers that entice readers and effectively convey the essence of the books within.

2023 PUP Holiday Campaign

For the 2023 Princeton University Press Holiday Campaign, the tagline "Great gifts begin with great ideas" aims to inspire individuals to choose books as gifts, highlighting the enriching ideas they bring. To achieve this, we aimed to design eye-catching graphics that evoke wonder and awe, standing out amidst the holiday season's clamor. I illustrated a series of icons tailored for digital ads and prominent placement on the Princeton University Press website and social media platforms.

Quote Card Graphics

Throughout the course of my internship, I am tasked with designing quote cards utilized in marketing published books on Twitter and Amazon. Quote cards involve taking the taglines associated with each book and creating a distinctive background that resonates with the book's cover design.

Book Cover Designs

I had the opportunity to design the book covers and jackets for Urban Power: Democracy and Inequality in São Paulo and Johannesburg and Supply Chain Justice: Logistics of British Border Control. This project allowed me to blend creative design with the essence of the books' themes, resulting in visually compelling covers that capture the reader's attention and reflect the critical issues discussed within.
